Sister Bliss is the stage name of Ayalah Bentovim, a British musician, producer and DJ from London. She works in electronic and house music, and is known both for her solo DJ work and for her studio collaborations.

Early life and musical training

She begins playing music at the age of five, starting on piano. She later learns violin, saxophone and bass, building a broad instrumental background before becoming known as a DJ and producer.

Work with Faithless

Sister Bliss is a member of Faithless, the group she forms in 1995 with Rollo Armstrong, Jamie Catto and Maxi Jazz. Over time, the project includes various collaborators and members, including Zoë Johnston and Dido Armstrong, who is Rollo’s sister and begins her music career providing backing vocals for the band. Faithless is known for extensive touring, with Sister Bliss appearing on stage alongside Maxi Jazz while Rollo Armstrong focuses more on studio work.

In the studio, she is best known for working with Rollo Armstrong on creating and remixing tracks for a range of artists. Her role centres on production, remixing and performance within electronic dance music.
