Sharks

Sharks is a Swedish electronic dance music group from Stockholm. The name has been used by several different acts, including British punk and hard rock bands, but this entry relates to the Swedish DJ duo Sophia Englund and Susanna Friberg.

Background

Englund and Friberg meet as classmates and become close after discovering each other’s music blogs. They develop Sharks as a house act and perform at clubs and festivals internationally.

Activity and performances

The duo opens for artists including The Chainsmokers and Veronica Maggio. They also curate their own stage at the Swedish festival Hudikkalaset.
