Sex Swing

Sex Swing is a London-based experimental group associated with krautrock, noise, noise rock, post-punk and psychedelic music. The group includes Tim Cedar and Jason Stöll, and also draws on members of Mugstar, Part Chimp, Dethscalator and Dead Neanderthals.

The band works with dense distortion, abrupt changes and a confrontational, highly amplified sound. Its music is described through comparisons with Suicide and Liars, with an emphasis on dark punk, disorientating noise and a heavy rhythmic drive.

One of the group’s best-known tracks is ‘Night-Time Worker’, which combines acid-guitar passages, frenzied saxophone parts, organ riffs and skewed vocals. Sex Swing’s self-titled debut album appears in 2016.
