September Girls

September Girls are a shoegaze and noise pop group from Dublin, Ireland. Formed in 2011, the band is a five-piece and includes Sarah Grimes.

Recordings and releases

They first release a cassette on Scotland’s Soft Power label, followed by a 7-inch single on the same label featuring “Green Eyed” and “Danny Wood”. They then issue a three-track 7-inch on California label Matinée Recordings with “Wanting More”, “Hells Bells” and “Man Chats”, before releasing another 7-inch on Cork’s Art For Blind Records containing “Talking” and “Some For Me”. Their debut album, Cursing the Sea, comes out on Fortuna POP! in 2014.
