Sebastian Ingrosso
Sebastian Ingrosso is a Swedish DJ and producer from Nacka, Sweden. Born in 1983, he works in house, progressive house and electro house, and is associated with the Swedish electronic dance scene.
Swedish House Mafia and related projects
He is a member of Swedish House Mafia with Axwell and Steve Angello. Ingrosso also works closely with Angello, a childhood friend, and with Axwell in a three-person DJ partnership. The trio begin using the Swedish House Mafia name as a joke before it becomes the established name for their collaboration. Eric Prydz is part of an earlier version of the group before leaving to pursue his own projects, although the musicians remain friends.
Ingrosso, Angello and Axwell release music together and under several project names, including Buy Now, Fireflies, General Moders, Mode Hookers, Outfunk and The Sinners. Other listed membership and project associations include Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Fireflies and General Moders.
Label work
Ingrosso runs A&R for his own record label, Refune, and is also linked with Refune Music and La'Mode.
