Screaming Lights

Screaming Lights are a band from Liverpool, England. The group forms in various line-ups from 2005 and plays local gigs around Liverpool before attracting management interest. The band consists of Alan Breen on bass, James Connor on drums, Max Goldberg on lead guitar, synth and piano, and James Treadell on vocals, guitar, synth and piano, as well as lyrics.

The band releases its debut single, GMN/Glow, and follows it with several tours. These include a support slot with Mystery Jets and an appearance at the Reading and Leeds festival. Its debut album, Like Angels, follows, with the single Hello Tomorrow appearing before the album.

After the album release, the band announces that it has split. The group says it has not been offered a way to continue as recording artists and decides to disband rather than carry on in difficult creative and commercial circumstances.
