Scars on 45 is an indie and acoustic group from Bradford, United Kingdom, active since 2007. It is the later name of the band formerly known as Tendertraps. The group includes Danny Bemrose on vocals and guitar, Aimee on vocals, Nova on piano, Stu on bass, Matt on guitar and Chris on drums.

Career

The band comes from the Leeds and Bradford area and works in an indie/acoustic style. After a period of being overlooked by the British music industry, it secures a US recording deal with Chop Shop Records, which operates as a division of Atlantic Records. The label is owned by Alexandra Patsavas, who works as music co-ordinator for Grey’s Anatomy.

The song “Heart On Fire” is chosen to promote the 2011-12 season of the ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.
