Saves The Day
Saves The Day is a pop punk band from Princeton, United States. Formed in 1997, the group is also associated with emo and indie rock. The current line-up listed for the band includes Chris Conley on vocals and guitar, Arun Bali on guitar, Rodrigo Palma on bass, and Dennis Wilson on drums.
Career
Before using the name Saves The Day, the band performs as Sefler. It signs to Equal Vision and releases its debut studio album in 1998. The follow-up, Through Being Cool, appears in 1999 and includes the band’s first single, “Shoulder to the Wheel.”
Stay What You Are follows in 2001 and reaches number 100 on the Billboard 200. It also generates the singles “At Your Funeral” and “Freakish,” both of which receive music videos shown on MTV2, and the album later sells 300,000 copies.
After that period, the band signs to DreamWorks Records, which co-releases In Reverie with Vagrant Records. That album reaches number 27 on the Billboard 200 and number 4 on the Independent Albums chart.
