Sam McCarthy is a Portsmouth-based songwriter from the United Kingdom. He is an English singer-songwriter who is originally from Portsmouth and is now based in London. Before working under his own name, he is part of the Gosport-based band Gilkicker. He then focuses on solo productions and supports bands including The Holloways on their UK tour.
