Roxanne Emery

Roxanne Emery is a pop singer and songwriter from Southampton, England. Born in 1984, she is also associated with acoustic and country-influenced material. Her debut single, Real, is released on De Angelis Records and leads into her first album, Remember Me.

Background

Before focusing on music, Emery works full-time in banking in the City and later as a trader. She studies Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Warwick University. She also moves from London to Manchester, where she lives with a close friend and her older brother, Gareth.

Emery is a trained musician who plays piano to grade 8 standard and also plays clarinet. Her debut album Remember Me is produced by Anthony Galatis and Rick Barraclough and mixed by Jack Joseph Puig, whose credits include U2, the Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls, No Doubt and the Rolling Stones. Her songs are described as combining strong pop melodies with clear vocals.
