Rony Trio

Rony Trio is a London-based group founded by Rony Berrebi, who is born in Paris to a Brazilian mother and a Tunisian father. Berrebi grows up listening to bossa nova, oriental music, blues, jazz, rock and French songwriters.

After qualifying as an anaesthetist, Berrebi moves to London to study at the London Centre for Contemporary Music, where he meets bassist Oliver Mitchell and drummer Jim MacRae. The trio performs in London venues including Underbelly, Acklam Village, The Islington and the Bermondsey Street Festival.
