Roly Porter is a British electronic musician and former member of Vex’d. He works in drone, dark ambient, ambient, noise and industrial music, and is also associated with dubstep and UK garage.

His solo work is described in terms of industrial-strength drone, art-techno, noise and synth-based experimentation. It uses eerie, corrosive electronics and a carefully controlled sense of modern classical composition. His sound is linked with the Subtext label, and it is compared with the label’s release from Emptyset.
