Regis is one alias of Karl O’Connor, a techno producer from Dublin who is associated with the Birmingham sound and industrial techno. He founds the Downwards imprint and also works under the name Kalon. His other projects include British Murder Boys, which he shares with label-mate Anthony Child, known as Surgeon, and involvement with the Sandwell District imprint.
