redwire

redwire are a London rock band active since 2014. They are a five-piece group playing indie rock and rock and roll, with a sound described as scuzzy and blues-influenced, and as sitting somewhere between the Arctic Monkeys and The Enemy.

Line-up

The band comprises Tom Nowakowski on lead vocals, Dan Louch on lead guitar, Joe Parkinson on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Mathew Hawthorn on bass, and Gab Dardes on drums.

Style and live work

The group is associated with an energetic, high-tempo approach and a playful take on rock. Their live activity includes a 2012 autumn UK tour with dates across England and Scotland, including shows in Blackpool, Glasgow, Middlesbrough, London, Leeds, Chester, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Stockton, Kirkcaldy, Dundee, Newcastle under Lyme, Scarborough and Derby.
