Redefine

Redefine are a punk group associated with alternative metal, progressive metal, progressive rock and nu metal. They first release a locally issued EP early in their career, then issue thedaisychaincycle in 2001. The album receives strong reviews from Kerrang! and Rock Sound, both of which award it near-full marks.

The group’s sound combines screamo, glitching electronics, post-hardcore, jagged guitars and drumming described as inspirational. After the singer leaves, the band brings in a replacement, but the line-up does not maintain the earlier standard and the group splits up.
