Ray Mang

Ray Mang is the disco-oriented DJ and production alias of writer and producer Raj Gupta from London, United Kingdom. The name is used for making, releasing and playing disco-centred party music aimed at collectors, dancers, enthusiasts and club crowds.

The project draws on extended disco mixes, dub versions and edits associated with Larry Levan, Walter Gibbons, Tee Scott, Daniele Baldelli, Began Cekic and Tom Moulton. It also reflects the open musical approach associated with early club spaces such as the Paradise Garage, the Loft and the Italian Cosmic parties.

Ray Mang is identified with disco, house, nu disco and disco house, and is presented as a vehicle for keeping disco music active into the new millennium.
