Rachel Furner, also known as Tich, is a UK singer-songwriter associated with pop and indie. She sings, plays piano and writes her own material.

Background

She grows up in a small house where her bedroom also functions as a recording space for her father. From an early age, she listens to him recording and playing music late into the night, hearing artists such as Stevie Wonder, Kate Bush and Carol King.

Music career

Furner starts singing from very young, begins piano at the age of six, and starts writing songs at eleven. She performs regular gigs in unusual venues and signs to Mercury Records in 2008. She is also working on her debut album.
