Pure Love

Pure Love is a rock band formed in 2011, based in London, United Kingdom, and active until 2014. The group is built around Frank Carter, formerly of Gallows, and Jim Carroll, who has played in Hope Conspiracy and Suicide File. It brings together English and American members and is associated with melodic hardcore, UK hardcore, hardcore punk and modern hardcore.

Early activity

The band plays its first show on 14 February 2012. Its first single, “Bury My Bones”, appears on 24 April 2012 and is also made available as a free download from the band’s official website.

Albums and EPs

Pure Love releases its debut album, Anthems, in 2013. The album is produced by Gil Norton. In April 2014, the band issues The Bunny EP digitally on Bandcamp. The release is accompanied by a message describing the tracks as the last three songs the group records.

Hiatus

In 2014, Pure Love announces an indefinite hiatus after farewell shows in May.
