Peter Sandberg is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist and composer working in neo-classical, electronic, ambient, post-classical and instrumental music. He is also associated with The Go Getters.

Music and releases

Sandberg builds piano-led compositions with electronic textures, moving between restrained, atmospheric pieces and more melodic, expansive arrangements. He establishes an international profile through music used for television and commercials, and his catalogue accumulates a large global audience. He has more than 500 million streams worldwide.

His debut album, Motion, arrives after he signs to London-based label Phases Records in 2018. The album includes the single Deep, which features in a dramatic scene in Stranger Things season 3.

His second album, Återvända, appears in 2020 as a conceptual release and includes the singles Rise and Pinetrees, the latter a collaboration with British electronic artist and vocalist Henry Green.

In 2021 he releases Midnattssol, an album he describes through its title and theme as a work connected to summer and the Swedish midnight sun. It includes the singles Wait and Frihet and guest appearances from Aquilo, Jake Isaac, Siv Jakobsen and Tom Ashbrook.

Film, television and commercial work

Sandberg composes music for television and commercials, with scoring credits for brands including Volvo, Tesla and Vox. In 2020 he also scores the virtual reality animated short film Goodbye Mr Octopus, which receives a nomination at the 77th Venice Film Festival.

Live activity

He performs in major cities including Istanbul and London, and later announces his Constellation series as a more ambitious project, alongside a European live tour planned for spring 2023.
