Pavo Pavo
Pavo Pavo is an experimental pop band from the United States, based in Brooklyn, New York. The group begins writing together while its members study music at Yale, and it develops into a five-songwriter collaboration with a focus on detailed, expressive pop arrangements that draw on both modern and older musical textures.
Line-up
The group consists of Eliza Bagg on violin, synthesizers and voice; Oliver Hill on guitars, synthesizers and voice; Nolan Green on guitars and voice; Austin Vaughn on drums; and Ian Romer on bass.
Style and associations
Pavo Pavo works in experimental pop, with tags also placing it in electronic, indie, indie pop, pop and synth pop. Name
The name Pavo Pavo comes from the southern constellation Pavo, with the Latin word referring to a peacock.
