Patent Pending is a pop punk and ska punk group from Mount Sinai, New York, active since 2001. The band plays guitar-driven punk songs and builds its reputation through extensive touring in the United States.

History and live activity

Since forming in 2001, Patent Pending plays hundreds of shows across the United States. Their live history includes appearances at several Vans Warped Tours and Bamboozle Festivals, placing them within the wider American pop punk circuit of the 2000s and beyond.

Collaborations and shared bills

The band shares stages with a wide range of punk, pop punk, ska punk and alternative acts, including Taking Back Sunday, Gym Class Heroes, Motion City Soundtrack, Cobra Starship, Catch 22, MC Lars, Suburban Legends, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Family Force 5 and Bowling for Soup.
