PARTYNEXTDOOR is the professional name of Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, a Canadian R&B singer and record producer from Mississauga, Canada. He is associated with alternative R&B, contemporary R&B, R&B, soul and trap soul, and is signed to OVO Sound and JA Publishing Group Inc.

Career

PARTYNEXTDOOR becomes the first artist signed to Drake’s OVO Sound label in 2013, as part of a joint venture with Warner Records. In the same year, he releases his self-titled debut extended play, PARTYNEXTDOOR. He follows this with PARTYNEXTDOOR Two and PNDColours in 2014, then PARTYNEXTDOOR 3 in 2016.

Songwriting

Alongside his own recordings, he builds a profile as a songwriter. He writes “Work” for Rihanna’s album Anti; the track reaches number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He also writes “Wild Thoughts”, which reaches number two on the same chart.
