Pareto

Pareto are a Glasgow trio from Scotland, active from 2009. They play alternative rock and emerge from the Glasgow music scene with a line-up of three members.

Early releases and radio play

The band debuts with the single This is where I draw the line. That track appears on playlists on national radio and on local radio stations, and it also features on Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 Introducing show, Alex Baker’s unsigned show on Kerrang, and Vic Galloway’s Radio 1 Scotland show. The single draws notice for its energetic guitar sound and singalong chorus, and is described by reviewers as a step into the limelight.

EP and live activity

Pareto prepare their debut EP, Your Heart is Ready for Home, which presents a fuller sound and includes instrumental sections. The band performs the EP at The Courtyard in Glasgow and holds a release show there in association with Detour Scotland, with physical copies available at the event and a digital release following shortly after.

Support slots and recognition

After a strong early year, Pareto support General Fiasco and People in Planes. They are also described as confident and charismatic, with praise from reviewers for their songwriting and live presence.
