Papa Roach

Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, United States, formed in 1993 and active since then. The group is associated with alternative metal, alternative rock, hard rock, heavy metal, nu metal and pop rock.

The original line-up includes lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, drummer Dave Buckner, guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Will James and trombonist Ben Luther. After two EPs, Will James leaves and Tobin Esperance takes over on bass. The band then releases two more EPs independently before signing to DreamWorks Records in 1999.

Their major-label debut album, Infest, appears in 2000 and goes triple platinum. It is followed by Lovehatetragedy in 2002, which is certified gold, and Getting Away with Murder in 2004, which is certified platinum. After The Paramour Sessions in 2006, Buckner leaves the band and Tony Palermo becomes the drummer in 2007.

Papa Roach continues with a run of studio albums including Metamorphosis (2009), Time for Annihilation (2010), The Connection (2012), F.E.A.R. (2015), Crooked Teeth (2017), Who Do You Trust? (2019) and Ego Trip (2022). The band’s label credit is New Noize Records, Inc.
