Panacea

Panacea is a hip-hop group from Washington, D.C., United States, active from 2003 to 2010. It is formed by Raw Poetic and K-Murdock, and the group also includes Damu the Fudgemunk. Its music sits within hip hop and underground hip hop.

Background and releases

The group releases its debut EP, Thinking Back Looking Forward, on Neosonic Productions in 2004. Its first full-length album, Ink Is My Drink, follows in 2006. Panacea’s style draws on Native Tongues-influenced beats, warm major chords and soul samples, alongside conscious lyrics about life, love and hip hop.
