O.V.N.I.

O.V.N.I. is a UK techno group formed in 2000. Steven Young is the only named member in the verified details, and the project begins when members of the Alfa-Matrix break beat band Seize move into a darker sound and change roles, with Steven on lead vocals and Sandrine and Rosie on bass and keyboards.

The group first uses the name Spermwhale before changing it while looking for a record label. It is associated with ebm, industrial, synthpop, trance and futurepop, reflecting the darker electronic direction described for the project.
