Osiah

Osiah is a deathcore group from Sunderland, United Kingdom, active since 2012. The band also sits within technical deathcore, with its sound described as combining breakdown-heavy deathcore with technical death metal and slam influences. The group’s line-up includes Ricky Lee Roper on vocals, Chris Keepin on guitar, Andy Mallaby on bass and Danny Yates on drums.

Style and sound

Osiah’s music uses crushing breakdowns, detuned guitars, sudden tempo changes and a range of harsh vocal approaches, from pitched screams to deep gutturals. The band is associated with the North East of England extreme metal scene and is known for a highly abrasive, dense sound.
