Oscar and the Wolf is a Belgian group from Ghent, active since 2010. The band’s line-up includes Max Colombie, Claudio Arduini, Ozan Bozdag and Jasper Bullynck. It is signed to PIAS Recordings.

Style and recordings

The group’s music is described as a blend of dark, melancholic pop and danceable rhythms. It is associated with dream pop and pop. The EP Summer Skin is released in 2012 and is recorded in a church. It includes the single Orange Sky.

Oscar and the Wolf’s debut album Entity is released in 2014 and reaches number one in the Belgian album chart. The album receives generally favourable reviews. The songs Princes and Strange Entity both become small hits.
