Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp is a Geneva-based orchestra active since 2006. It works as a large collective and is associated with afrobeat, art rock, experimental music, jazz, new wave and pop, alongside the krautrock, avant-garde and art rock tags often attached to it.
Line-up and formation
The group is a 12-piece ensemble from Genève. Current members include Seth Bennett on trombone, Vincent Bertholet on double bass, and Maël Saletes on guitar. Other members named in the band’s history include Liz Moscarola on violon-voice, Anne Cardinaud on marimba and percussion, and Wilf Plum on drums.
Former members and contributors include Julien Israelian and Guillaume Lantonnet on drums, Yohan Fievet on marimba, Séni on trombone, Titi, and Guillaume Fernez on guitar.
Releases
The group self-releases its eponymous debut album in 2007.
