One Dimensional Creatures, also known as One Dimes, are an alternative punk, post-punk and grunge group from Manchester, with links to Greater Manchester and the Calder Valley in the UK. The line-up includes Chris Tighe, Ollie Chapman, Ste Wilson, Adam Heap, Ventura Petrosino, Aiden Greasley and Piotr Ignatowicz. The group forms in 2023 and remains active.

Style and themes

Their music combines heavy distortion, angular lead guitar lines and driving rhythms. Their lyrics focus on politics, inequality and everyday work and money pressures. Their sound sits across alternative punk, alternative rock, art punk, garage punk, garage rock and grunge.

Releases and recordings

One Dimensional Creatures issue their music through their own label, BKD Music, which handles recording, mixing, artwork and releases. Their debut album is Tolerance Paradox, which appears in late 2025 on limited red vinyl, CD, download and streaming. They also release singles and EPs, including the sold-out Baited Chains EP and Welcome to Serfdom EP.
