Omar Rudberg

Omar Rudberg

Omar Rudberg is a Venezuelan-Swedish singer and actor. He is born in 1998 and is associated with Anaco, Sweden. He also uses the name Omar.

Early career and FO&O

Rudberg takes part in Talang 2010 on TV4. He is a member of the boyband FO&O, previously known as The Fooo Conspiracy, from 2013 to 2017. With the group, he appears in Melodifestivalen 2017 on SVT with the song “Gotta Thing About You”, and the entry reaches the final.

Solo work

He launches his solo career in 2018 with “QUE PASA”, featuring Swedish rapper LAMix, followed by “La Mesa” with Swedish rapper Elias Hurtig. He later appears in Melodifestivalen 2019 with “Om om och om igen”. Although the song does not qualify from the semi-finals, it gives him his first solo top 20 hit in Sweden.

Acting

Rudberg also acts. He plays Simon, one of the lead characters in the 2021 Netflix series Young Royals.
