Obsessive Compulsive
Obsessive Compulsive are a Manchester group associated with metal and punk, and also described as a gothic/punk band. The line-up includes Kelii Curtis, Amy Brayley Davies, Lee Mark Gibbs, Pete and Dani Partridge. The group is active from 2003 and later goes on hiatus in 2015.
Releases
The band signs to its own label, Vociferous Rocords, and releases two EPs and one album. The EPs are A Demon For Every Occasion and The Corpses Of Thought, and the album is Dreams Of Death & The Death Of Dreams. Their releases appear in 2004, 2007 and 2010 respectively.
Style and outlook
Kelii Curtis describes the band as dirty, hungry and angry, and says they live in a van and spend most nights on a hard floor. The group presents itself as committed to music, individuality, independence and freedom, and rejects mainstream commercial success in favour of playing for outcasts and fans of loud, trashy music.
