Oasis are one of Britain’s most iconic rock bands and a defining act of the Britpop era. Formed in Manchester in 1991 and led by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the band rose to global fame with era-defining songs including Wonderwall, Live Forever, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova.

Their 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe became the fastest-selling debut album in British history at the time, while (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? established Oasis as one of the biggest bands in the world. Their huge live performances became equally legendary, including two record-breaking concerts at Knebworth in 1996.

Following years of chart success and headline shows, Oasis split in 2009 after Noel Gallagher left the band. Liam and Noel subsequently pursued separate projects and solo careers before Oasis announced their long-awaited reunion in 2024.
