Numb
Numb is a Vancouver coldwave and electro-industrial group from Canada, active from 1986. It is founded by Don Gordon, who leads the project and later retires it after the single Suspended, moving to Vietnam with his wife. The group’s membership includes Sean Stubbs, Dave Hall, Conan Hunter, David Collings, Blair Dobson and Don Gordon.
Style and background
The band works in electronic, industrial and industrial metal, with its Vancouver-based sound placing it within the wider electro-industrial and EBM scene. Early line-up changes are marked by a series of vocalists and keyboard work across its active years.
Members
Sean Stubbs, also credited as Sean St.Hubbs, handles vocals in the earliest period. Blair Dobson also appears on vocals, followed by Conan Hunter, while David Hall contributes keyboards and programming. David Collings later takes over vocals before the project’s eventual retirement by Gordon.
