Nathan Watson

Nathan Watson is a UK musician who records mostly instrumental music. His work is associated with post-rock, ambient, shoegaze, folk, drone and atmospheric sludge. One release, III, appears on Against It Records.

Early work and development

He previously performs under the name Dragonfly for his MC work, which begins when he is 16. He then starts writing his own funk material and records a number of tracks, beginning with a song called Runaway. Over the next couple of years he develops his live set through open mic sessions in and around London.

Releases and collaborations

Watson later completes an acoustic tour of the UK lasting three weeks. He also collaborates on a track for Help for Heroes. His debut album, Student Of Life, is completed, and he releases the single Reach Out (You’ve Got A Friend). His CD III is issued by Against It Records.
