Namasenda

Namasenda is a Swedish electronic artist from Stockholm. Born Naomi Namasenda in 1993, she performs mononymously as Namasenda and is associated with future bass and bubblegum pop, with her work also placed alongside PC Music and bubblegum bass.

Early releases and PC Music association

Her debut single is Here, a track linked to the sound of PC Music and to bubblegum bass artists including SOPHIE and Swick. In 2017, she releases her debut EP hot_babe_93. In 2019, the single 24/7 appears and she becomes the first black artist to sign to PC Music.

Collaborations and later releases

In 2019, Namasenda appears on LIZ’s debut studio album Planet Y2K. In April 2020, she releases the singles Dare (AM) and Dare (PM), both produced by A. G. Cook. Later in 2020, she releases Wanted, produced solely by Himera.

Unlimited Ammo

In 2021, she releases the singles Demonic, Banana Clip and Finish Him from her debut mixtape Unlimited Ammo. The mixtape appears in 2021, and a special edition titled Unlimited Ammo: Infinity is also released on Bandcamp the same day, featuring remixes by artists including Ö and Thy Slaughter.
