N-Vitral
N-Vitral is the hardcore techno project of Dutch producer Stefan Busker. The act is linked closely to The Third Movement label and is also associated with the Slaughterhouse name. Busker begins releasing music in 2002 with the debut release XS36, which introduces a sound built around industrial elements, distorted rhythms and heavy kicks.
Style and development
Early N-Vitral releases are described as having a hypnotic quality, while later EPs such as Klusterfuk and Bonck move towards a harder, more forceful approach. His music draws on industrial experimentation and dense sound design, with dark atmosphere and mid-tempo, soundscaping ideas as recurring features. Converter and Autechre are named as influences on his development.
Career
After the debut release, N-Vitral appears at Mystery Land and goes on to issue a series of well-regarded releases on The Third Movement. His sound also gains traction at underground raves internationally, and his tracks receive positive responses from DJs and producers across the world. His work is notable for its original-feeling tracks and for titles that function almost like a language of their own.
