Mystro is a hip-hop MC, also known as MysDiggi, with an early recording history that begins in 1998. He is associated with UK hip-hop and underground hip-hop, and his work centres on rap collaborations, singles, compilation appearances and guest verses.

Early releases and collaborations

Mystro first appears on record as a featured artist on Cane’s The Struggle 12-inch in 1998. In 1999 he releases the single Kiss That Arse Goodnight on Deal Real Records, featuring Jargon and Skinnyman. The following year he works with Blufoot on Last Days, which appears on the Raw Materials Volume 2 compilation.

In 2001 he records his first collaborative release with Braintax, Free the Walls, which appears on Word Lab 2 – The Next Chapter, a Wordplay compilation. Later that year he and Braintax release Don’t Drag Me In! on Braintax’s Low Life label.

Singles and compilation tracks

During 2002, Mystro releases Open Mic on Camshot in January. He also appears on The Nextmen’s Next Trend single, which includes Liven It Up, a track featuring both Mystro and Braintax. He also features on Blak Twang’s album Kik Off on the track Half n Half.

In January 2003 he releases My Type of Party on Low Life’s Food compilation, and appears on You Know Who You Are by Rodney P and Farma G, alongside Braintax, from the same album. Later in 2003 he issues Step by Step, and also features on Where Ever You Are from Joni Rewind’s Welcome to the World of Joni Rewind and on Ritchy Pitch’s Cuttin’ Up the Rug from The Green Lanes EP. At the end of that year he releases Strong Rhyming.

Solo release and later work

Music Mystro appears in March 2004 as both an EP and a full-length CD, and is his first full-length solo release. It includes a video for Strong Rhyming. He also records with several Australian and New Zealand artists, including the Hilltop Hoods on The Hard Road with Obese Lowlifes, Bliss n Eso on Day of the Dog with Watch Your Mouth, Phrase on Talk with Force with Here Now, MC Anecdote, and New Zealand producer P-Money on Magic City and Unreleased Joints and Remixes.

He later releases Who You Gonna Blame from the album Diggi Down Unda, featuring Maya Jupiter, Sereck and P-Money.
