My Darkest Days are a Canadian rock band from Norwood, Canada, active from 2005 to 2013. The group is associated with alternative rock, hard rock, post-grunge and rock. Its line-up includes Matt Walst and Sal Costa.

Formation and line-up

The band is based in Peterborough, Ontario. In its core line-up, it includes lead singer Matt Walst, bassist Brendan McMillan, drummer Doug Oliver and keyboardist Reid Henry.

Career

My Darkest Days are discovered by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, who signs them to 604 Records. They release two studio albums and are best known for the 2010 single "Porn Star Dancing". The group disbands in 2013 after Matt Walst moves from touring vocalist to permanent lead singer following Adam Gontier’s departure from Three Days Grace.
