Mount Kimbie

Mount Kimbie is an English electronic duo from London, made up of Kai Campos and Dominic Maker. The pair meet at university in 2008 and begin making music together in a home studio in Peckham. They are active from 2008 and are associated with labels including Warp and Hotflush Recordings.

Their music sits around dubstep, electronic, minimal techno and post-dubstep, with experimental rhythms and ambient textures. Their early releases on Hotflush Recordings draw support from DJs such as Mary Anne Hobbs, Scuba, Rob Booth and Ramadanman. Their debut album, Crooks & Lovers, appears on Hotflush and receives critical acclaim.
