Motionless In White are an American heavy metal band from Scranton, United States, active since 2005. Their sound is tagged across metalcore, alternative metal, gothic metal, industrial metal, nu metal, post-hardcore, screamo, hardcore and metal. The group takes its name from the Eighteen Visions song “Motionless and White.”

Line-up and membership

The band’s current line-up includes Chris Motionless on lead vocals, Ryan Sitkowski and Ricky “Horror” Olson on guitars, Vinny Mauro on drums, and Justin Morrow on bass. Over time, the group also includes or has included Frank Polumbo, Kyle White, Angelo Parente, Mike Costanza, TJ Bell, Josh Balz, Devin “Ghost” Sola and Brandon Rage. Chris Motionless is the only remaining member from the original formation.

Recordings and label history

Motionless In White first records for Fearless Records, through which they release their first three studio albums: Creatures in 2010, Infamous in 2012 and Reincarnate in 2014. They later release Graveyard Shift in 2017 via Roadrunner Records, followed by Disguise in 2019 and Scoring the End of the World in 2022. Their listed labels also include MIW Publishing and Motionless in White.
