Monsta

Monsta is a name used by several different acts. One is a trio made up of Bryn Christopher, Rufio Sandilands and Rocky Morris. That group first releases the Monsta EP and later issues the Evolution EP on Polydor Records. Before that later release, it changes its name to I See MONSTAS after a copyright claim from another group is said to have been made. The trio is associated with dubstep, electronic music, drum and bass, hip hop and grime.

Another Monsta is a north west England punk rock and electroclash band consisting of Laura Follin, Emma Stockton, also known as Emma Divine, and James Wilson, also known as Jim Wilson.

The name is also used by a gangsta rapper affiliated with The Regime, whose debut album Pacific Coast Highway appears in spring 2011, and by a dubstep producer who runs the Monsta Dubs record label.
