moddi is the stage name of Pål Moddi Knutsen, a Norwegian singer-songwriter from Troms, Norway. Born in 1987, he is self-taught and plays accordion and acoustic guitar as his main instruments.

His music combines free folk, indie pop and pop, and it is also described as drawing on folk music and post-rock. He is associated with acoustic-based songwriting and a Norwegian folk-influenced sound.
