Miraa May is an Algerian-born singer and songwriter based in London. Born in 1996, she comes from Algeria and grows up in Tottenham, in north London, after moving to the UK with her parents as a young child. Her music is described as contemporary R&B, funk, hip hop soul and R&B, and she is also associated with soul and pop.

She records the EP N15, a title that reflects the area in Tottenham where she settles. The project comes after a trip to Miami, where she meets Salaam Remi, who encourages her to connect with music in a different setting.
