Mind Vortex
Mind Vortex is an English drum and bass group from the east coast of England. The act signs to RAM Records and is made up of Laurie Carroll and Junk Mail.
Background
Laurie Carroll and Stefan begin making music from an early age and meet at school, where they develop their sound in drum and bass. After a period of production work, they make their first release on Plush Recordings. They later send dubplates to Andy C and Scott at RAM Records, which leads to the signing.
Releases and recognition
Mind Vortex appears on Nightlife 5 with the tracks “Onslaught” and “Now It’s Time”. “Onslaught” also appears later on the Nightlife EP Part 3. Their music receives support from Zane Lowe, Mistajam, Bailey, Crissy Criss, DJ Hype and Drumsound.
