Mikill Pane is a hip hop artist from Hackney, London, in the United Kingdom. He is pronounced “Mike-ill Pane”.

Releases and recordings

He is best known for the track “Little Lady”, recorded with Ed Sheeran and included on Sheeran’s Collaboration EP. It is noted as the best-selling track from that release, outselling Sheeran’s collaborations with Wiley, Devlin and Wretch 32.

In October 2011 he releases The Guinness & Blackcurrant EP, a four-track EP produced by Seb Rochford, who receives Mercury Prize nominations for work with Babyshambles, Adele and Polar Bear. A video is made for the lead track, “Read My Lips”. The EP reaches number 4 in the iTunes hip hop chart and number 71 in the album chart.

His next release is The Morris Dancer EP, issued on Invader Records in February 2012. He later releases You Guest It as a free download through SBTV.

Collaborations

You Guest It includes collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Example, Paloma Faith, Yasmin, P Money, Fem Fel, Katie Price and Jakwob. The release receives strong attention online and on radio.

Live work

In late 2011, Mikill Pane tours nationally with Mac Miller and Ed Sheeran. He also supports Rizzle Kicks on tour during April and May. He later plays a sold-out headline show at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen.
