Midway Still

Midway Still are a punk group from Kent, United Kingdom. They form in the early 1990s and are associated with Jan Konopka and Paul Thomson.

Early releases

The band records a Peel session in 1991 before the release of its debut album, Dial Square, which comes out in 1992 on Roughneck Recordings, a subsidiary of Fire Records. The album is produced by Don Fleming.

The follow-up, Life's Too Long, appears in 1993 and is produced by Frankie Stubbs of Leatherface.

Later activity

Midway Still split before a third album is released. A reunion of sorts takes place in 2000, and the single “Fuck You” is issued in 2001 on Antipop Records.
