There is one band name Messy and a side-project name Messy:
1) Since 1985, the band Messy (Alex from the Netherlands) has been expressing herself in various ways, such as making collages, sculptures, photographs, paintings, videos, and of course, music (solo or in bands or other projects). Ranging from noise to danceble, from homey to sweet, she hopes to put a spell on the audience through what she calls "Messy vocal magic".

2) In 2000, Jessicka Addams, of Jack Off Jill and Scarling., was part of the side-project Messy with Kevin Haskins (of Bauhaus, Love & Rockets fame). The Messy project only released one song "Make You Believe" which is featured on the compilations Unquiet Grave III and A Taste of Sin, both released on Cleopatra Records.
