McLean is a British R&B and hip-hop artist who first comes to wider attention with the independently released song “Broken,” which appears in 2007. He begins recording under the name Digga before changing his stage name to McLean and signing a major label deal. After that change, he releases a new version of “Broken” and films a video for the reissued single.

He also features as one of the “Young Soul Rebels” on the War Child single “I Got Soul,” and appears on Dick Limerick Academy’s track. McLean is related to several other public figures: he is the brother of Hull City striker Aaron McLean, known as one half of the “Mac-Attack” partnership, and the cousin of 1990s pop singer Bitty McLean.
