Matthew E. White

Matthew E. White is an American songwriter, producer and arranger from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is the founder of Spacebomb Records and works across indie pop, jazz, rock and soul. His solo recording career begins with his debut album Big Inner.

Career

White is also known as the leader of the avant-garde jazz big band Fight the Big Bull, where he composes and arranges all of the music. He is a former member of The Great White Jenkins. Alongside his own work, he is associated with The Spacebomb House Band and the Spacebomb label.

Recognition

His early solo work receives several industry notices, including eMusic’s Breakthrough Artist of 2012, Paste Magazine’s Best New Act of 2012 and a Consequence of Sound Rookie of the Year mention.
